Job Description

Currently we are looking for an experienced electrical supervisor with a strong background in automation to lead our electrical and automation team. The ideal candidate will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and automated equipment within our facility. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage projects, supervise staff, and ensure all electrical and automation systems operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Supervision:

Manage and supervise a team of electricians and automation technicians.
Assign tasks, monitor work progress, and evaluate performance.
Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills.
Project Management:

Plan and coordinate electrical and automation projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
Collaborate with engineering and production departments to implement new systems or upgrades.
Electrical and Automation System Oversight:

Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, control panels, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and related automation equipment.
Ensure all systems comply with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:

Lead complex troubleshooting efforts for electrical and automation systems.
Develop solutions to recurring issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
Safety Compliance:

Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures among team members.
Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
Budget Management:

Prepare and manage the electrical department’s budget, including expenses for labor, equipment, and materials.
Evaluate cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety.
Vendor and Contractor Coordination:

Work with external vendors and contractors for specialized services or equipment procurement.
Review and approve quotations, contracts, and work performed by third parties.
Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of all electrical and automation activities, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and inventory.
Prepare periodic reports for senior management on project status, team performance, and system efficiency.
Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to enhance electrical and automation systems for better performance and energy efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
