OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION

As the M&E Foot Mobile Engineer you will be responsible for undertaking planned preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical / electrical equipment as well as building fabric.
You will carry out the PPM and reactive maintenance and as when required including but not limited to full electrical & mechanical PPM and reactive works, minor building repairs, electrical repairs, plumbing works including drainage and other general duties in support of the client’s requirements.

MAIN RESPONSIBILIITIES

• Close / update completed reactive and PPM tasks on your PDA computerised maintenance system.
• Ensure standards of workmanship are maintained to maximise the operation, effectiveness and reliability of the building and associated systems.
• To assist specialist subcontractors’ requirements for both PPM and reactive works
• Ensure all site procedures are adhered to.
• Ensure both the site and our clients Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Maintain accurate site records / documentation in association with all site works
• Inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with callouts /repairs as and when required
• Carry out tasks within typical building environments and at high level, working from platforms, and ladders. All access and PPE will be provided.
• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received
• Report any issues / training needs to your line manager.
• Keep helpdesk team updated with any issues on site / works that need to be rescheduled
• Complete detailed technical quotations when works exceeds the contract limits or when small install works are required

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Previous experience working in a similar retail / commercial maintenance environment and familiar with the following equipment: Air Handling Units, Emergency Lighting, L8 requirements, Fire Alarm Testing, Plumbing,
• Hold relevant Electrical / Mechanical qualifications
• IPAF
• PASMA
